明治大学川島範久研究室

大学研究室にミーティングテーブルと本棚、教員の個室を製作しました。
他の場所で不要となり回収した家具をできるだけ再利用することを基本とし、必要に応じて一部を継ぎ足したり、新たに製作したりしながら空間を構成しました。
異素材の組み合わせや、同素材でも新旧の組み合わせを意識的に取り入れました。
設計および製作にあたっては学生の皆様にご協力いただきました。ありがとうございました。


Nori Kawashima Lab, Meiji University

A meeting table, bookshelves, and a private office for the faculty member were designed and fabricated for a university laboratory.

The space was composed primarily through the reuse of furniture collected after becoming unnecessary elsewhere. Where required, elements were extended or newly fabricated and integrated into the overall composition.

The design intentionally incorporates combinations of different materials, as well as juxtapositions of old and new elements within the same material.

The design and fabrication were carried out with the cooperation of the laboratory’s students.
